Meall Fuar-mhonaidh stands 535m above Loch Ness and gives a stunning aspect to this beautiful area. The walk takes approximately 3 – 5 hours depending on ability.

Dores beach is a lovely spot and easily accessible from Inverness. Located on the East side of the Loch in the village of dores. There is a pub serving great pub meals on the banks of the Loch and this is also home to the world famous Nessie Hunter – Steve Feltham.

The first recorded sighting of the Loch Ness Monster was in the 6th century at the time of Saint Columba.
